None really.

It's certainly preferable to run a 64 bit hypervisor whenever possible
but running a 32 bit domain 0 is a very reasonable configuration.

It's the default for XCP and XenServer for example and works quite well
there.

It also allows you to run a mixture of 32 and 64 bit guests.
