However, when I start the Virtual Machine Monitor, I get the
following error:

I have already set the following configuration directives in
/etc/xen/xend-config.sxp:
(xend-http-server yes)
# Port xend should use for the HTTP interface, if xend-http-server
is set.
#(xend-port 8000)
=============================================================================================
The following command returns nothing.
teo-en-ming@ubuntu-1110-amd64-desktop:~$ sudo netstat -anp | grep -v
unix | grep 8000
=============================================================================================
By right, xend should start a http listening service on tcp port
8000, but it does not. I
have checked with "sudo netstat -anp | grep -v unix" and there is no
tcp port 8000, but there is port 8002 for relocation.
TCP Port 8000 uses to show up in Xen 4.1.3-rc1-pre, but now it does
not show up in Xen 4.2-unstable.
Are there any differences between Xen 4.1.3-rc1-pre and Xen
4.2-unstable? Does xen-4.2-unstable uses a configuration file OTHER
THAN /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp?
How can I resolve this issue? Please advise.
Thank you very much.
Yours sincerely,
Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming)
