I have seen the same problem, with cd-rom in windows 7 64 bit. When I check
device manager
the CD or DVD drive is listed with the right size of the media, but the
filesystem is listed as RAW.
If I exchange the real device (/dev/sr0) with an iso file, windows is able to
read from the cd-drive
without problems. I am also using qemu-xen-traditional as I use
PCI-passthrough. For me the
problem is there both with and without pv-drivers installed.
