The patch "fix vfb related assertion problem when starting pv-domU" was 
acknowledged as stable-candidate from Ian Campbell (see 
http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2012-11/msg01208.html), but 
couldn't find it in the 4.2 stable branch. 

Its a one-liner and i didn't find anything on the list that it was discarded 
for stable.
