This (-c) does a checkpoint suspend -- was that what you wanted?

I'm not 100% certain that checkpointing doesn't require in-guest support
which CentOS 6 may well lack.

Also I think any files /var/log/xen/*NAME* (where NAME is the domain's
name) would be useful. In particular the ones relating to the device
model.
