Hi Maintainer

I added 64bit pci hotplug support to hvm guest recently.
Then I found XudongHao had ever sent a similar patch, but it wasn't
merged in qemu-xen-traditional.
Stefano is not the maintainer of this tree, Ian Jackson is. On the other
hand the patch you link to is against qemu-xen, which Stefano does
maintain, so I'm a bit confused.
That is not the case: the patch is against qemu-xen-traditional
(hw/pass-through.c doesn't exist on QEMU upstream based trees).
So anyone knows if it could be accepted?
I think it could be used to fix an oracle internal bug.
We found when we hotplug many pci vf to a hvm, some regions may need to be mapped above 4G.
That patch add the support.

Ah, I was tricked by the subject line which says qemu-xen!

Perhaps you should also have CCd Xudong? I've done that too.

This may also relate to http://bugs.xenproject.org/xen/bug/28 ?

Ian.

I am interested in the result about that patch.
