Yes, that was the intent IIRC. MemDetect looks at CMOS for memory size
which potentially limits the amount of RAM represented.

Another aspect is that the location used in CMOS is not standardized
location. It didn't cause strong objection though.

Do you have a git tree somewhere? And some critical steps to test this
series?
