Please can you confirm with the latest 4.3.x (which is .2 I think).

Since the stream is encrypted it's hard to debug. Perhaps you could add
debugging to migrate_read_fixedmessage in xl_cmdimpl.c to print the
expected and actual messages?

My vague guess is that the unexpected data will say something like
"Segmentation Fault".
