[Xen-devel] issues booting HVM with 9p as root (btrfs)

I've been successful in getting 9p to work, however, not as /

the dracut had a virtfs module that should allow booting 9p as / ; but for
xen this seems not to work.

at first, i got "no available channels", but if i modprobed virtio_pci
before 9pnet_virtio , then i didn't have this problem, but the mount of
/sysroot just hangs... i've tried adding multiple modules and sleeps to
see if i could fix it, but that didn't work.

i donno what, but it feels like i'm missing something, but i don't know what.

If anyone can help me out here...

PS: i need pxeboot to get the kernel and initrd booted, this is the append
parameters: "root=virtfs:testpxe2-root verbose rd.debug=1"
