As Zoltan said on a previous mail [1], this is only used on your internal kernel. Furthermore, as the bindings is not official, nothing prevent someone to re-use the bindings for another purpose (such as GICv3 on hisilicon). Xen upstream aims to support only official bindings for a this reason. So I don't think we should take this patch. BTW, it would have been nice add a link to the discussion [1]. It would have avoid us to get back on the archives to find the reason of this patch.
