Understood, however, the part on how you get to create a full HVM domain with QEMU setup for driver backends _but_ empty p2m tables is really unclear. That's why I just been using the regular toolstack as it that step is really non-trivial. Â
Ack, memshare strictly only runs after the restore finished. Sprinkling printks over the memshare codebase is somewhat of a brute-force approach IMHO. I was hoping there is some insight into the interaction between domain saving and memory sharing that should obviously be synchronized to avoid this NULL deref.
