Re: [Xen-devel] Update on Review Process Modelling Project
Hi everyone, questions related to the items below are welcome; in particular if anyone suspects the data is wrong. Some if the data is still incomplete, or only covers 2015. Once I have more, I will share.

Hi Lars,
Current situation of the analysis [1]:
[disclaimer: data are available till August 2015 and in some cases only for 2015, this needs some work, but data should be alright the periods of analysis.]
Activity general overview: - Evolution of patch series (whole history) - Evolution of patch series submitters (whole history) - Evolution of comments (whole history) - Evolution of people commenting the patch series (in progress) - Evolution of people reviewing patches (not started)
Time analysis: - Time to merge (for 2015) - Time to commit (for 2015) - Time to re-work a patch (for 2015) - Cycle time (for 2015) - Time to first review (whole history)
Backlog analysis: - Reviews completed (ready to go once we have updated data) - Reviews active (ready to go once we have updated data) - Reviews ongoing (ready to go once we have updated data) - Reviews stalled (ready to go once we have udpated data)
Patch series complexity analysis: - Number of versions per patch serie (2015) - Number of touched files and added/removed lines (not started) - Comments received per patch (whole history) - Number of patches per patch serie (in progress)
Patch series community: - Top people sending patches (not started) - Top people revieweing patches (not started)
Thus, as further work, I need to work on the following steps:
- Update the databases - Metric: Evolution of people commenting the patch series (in progress) - Metric: Evolution of people reviewing patches (not started) - Metric: Number of touched files and added/removed lines (not started) - Metric: Number of patches per patch serie (in progress) - Metric: Patch series community metrics.
Regards, Daniel.
