[Xen-devel] Problem with nested HVM and hyper V in WIN8

Hello,

 

I tried to boot a Windows 8.1 with Hyper-v role as domU.

 

I had this three options in my config file :

-          hap=1

-          nestedhvm=1

-          cpuid = ['0x1:ecx=0xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx']

 

I add the patch http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/316993 in the xen code and I built it.

I tried 4.4.2, 4.50 and 4.6.0.

I saw in the wiki http://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Nested_Virtualization_in_Xen it’s possible to start a VM with hyper-v roles.

But I can’t do it.

 

Anyone can help me ?
