That's what I am trying to understand.

The fix is probably to move

    per_cpu(xen_vcpu, 0) = &HYPERVISOR_shared_info->vcpu_info[0];

in enlighten.c:xen_start_kernel() up a little. I am trying to understand
what's changed to trip this error.
