I added Kyle, Chris and Christopher to this thread who are involved in OpenXT & 
Xenbedded, and who I believe may have some experience in the field also. As far 
as I recall, one of the sticking points in the past, was that Xen maintainers 
could not verify whether the PV protocol proposal maps well onto sound 
protocols.

I don't know whether Xenbedded or OpenXT contain any PV sound drivers yet. In 
any case, it seems that maybe we are starting to get a little bit of 
fragmentation and overlap in some areas around drivers for 
embedded/client/tablets/automotive between Xen Project, OpenXT and Xenbedded. 

It may make sense at some point to try and resolve this overlap and establish 
one place, where this functionality should live. I don't have any opinions, 
just throwing the question out and trying to figure out who has done what 
already.
