But it does this regardless of -i * Also, IIRC someone wrote earlier in the thread that they prefer the practice of including CCs in the body of the cover letter too. So assuming that the first reply is accurate, it may not be desirable. That can be done easily. Maybe the best way to approach this is to have two options that control how CCs are inserted into the cover letter and a separate one that controls how CCs are inserted into patches.
