Re: [Xen-devel] [QUESTION] Xen 4.8.4 - Unable to start VM's: spawn failed (rc=-3)

Hi Paul,

The contents of the file is as follows:

---------

char device redirected to /dev/pts/2 (label serial0)
qemu-system-i386: -vnc 0.0.0.0:7,password,websocket,x509=/etc/pki/xen,to=0:
Failed to start VNC server: address resolution failed for 0.0.0.0:on:
Servname not supported for ai_socktype

---------

Looks like I will have to investigate my VNC / Websocket patch as to why
there is a difference between the same patch handling in 4.8.3 vs 4.8.4. The
only other issue is permissions for unprivileged user for /etc/services
however they are all OK.

Best regards,

Alex

Hello,

You need to look at the QEMU log, which should be at
/var/log/xen/qemu-dm-<domain name>.log. Please paste the contents of
that file.

Roger.
