Re: [Xen-users] Problems booting domian - unable to mount root device



err.... I did not find the mentioned solition, but:

I could fix it:
o       I tried to install a SuSE-guest-domain - worked.
o       I tried both /boot and /dev from SuSE-guest on debian-guest - no 
success.
o       I disabled the ramdisk-statement in the xencfg-file (this is ESSENTIAL!)
o Then I ran out of loop-devices that I need for mounting the VBD (mount -o loop /usr/local/xenvm/vm1disk /mnt/vm1disk) I don't exactly know how this can happen, but I cound find out that loop devices can be free via losetup -d /dev/loop<no>
        I freed all loop-devs, since then debian boots.

There are still some odd things happening, but I think the boot-problem should be solved now.

I checked the devs of the guest-installation:
