Additional info:

When I boot RHAS4 (domU) with the 2.6.8-24.14-xen built for suse 9.2 dom0, the last lines displayed are:

Trying to move old root to /initrd.  ...ok

Freeing unused kernel memory: 132K freed

Warning: Unable to open an initial console

And then the domU reboots

Subject: [Xen-users] suse 9.2 and rhas4

I want to run Red Hat EL AS 4 as DomU (2.6.9-5.EL kernel), with Suse9.2  (2.6.8-14-xen kernel) running as Dom0.

The Dom0 is setup right and there are other Suse 9.2 DomU’s running.

I want to know what should I specify as the kernel and ramdisk in the domU config file.

Do I have to create a separate xen kernel for 2.6.9-5.EL?
