Hello list, When I run "xm create blah ..." on a p4 system, after showing the "Using config file...", the system hang, eg. no keyboard, cannot ping/ssh). However, If I change it to celeron(2.4Ghz), the command "xm create" run fine. The problem is still exist if I turn off HT, using xen-3.0 and offical xen-2.0 binary. So, can someone tell me what's the possible solution for the problem above? Thanks all! Here is the "xm info" in my p4 system: system : Linux host : main release : 2.6.11-1 version : #2 Wed Aug 17 14:21:51 UTC 2005 machine : i686 cores : 0 hyperthreads_per_core : 2 cpu_mhz : 2800 memory : 511 free_memory : 91 and "xm dmesg" \ \/ /___ _ __ |___ \ / _ \|___ | \ // _ \ '_ \ __) || | | | / / / \ __/ | | | / __/ | |_| | / / /_/\_\___|_| |_| |_____(_)___(_)_/ http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/netos/xen University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory Xen version 2.0.7 (root@[unknown]) (gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)) Wed Aug 17 14:17:28 UTC 2005 Latest ChangeSet: (XEN) Physical RAM map: (XEN) 0000000000000000 - 000000000009fc00 (usable) (XEN) 000000000009fc00 - 00000000000a0000 (reserved) (XEN) 00000000000e8000 - 0000000000100000 (reserved) (XEN) 0000000000100000 - 000000001ffb0000 (usable) (XEN) 000000001ffb0000 - 000000001ffc0000 (ACPI data) (XEN) 000000001ffc0000 - 000000001fff0000 (ACPI NVS) (XEN) 000000001fff0000 - 0000000020000000 (reserved) (XEN) 00000000ff7c0000 - 0000000100000000 (reserved) (XEN) System RAM: 511MB (523580kB) (XEN) Xen heap: 10MB (10780kB) (XEN) CPU0: Before vendor init, caps: bfebfbff 00000000 00000000, vendor = 0 (XEN) CPU#0: Physical ID: 0, Logical ID: 0 (XEN) CPU caps: bfebfbff 00000000 00000000 00000000 (XEN) Using scheduler: Borrowed Virtual Time (bvt) (XEN) Initializing CPU#0 (XEN) Detected 2800.838 MHz processor.
