Follow the README instructions, and most definitely check the kernel configs before you spin them. Also more of us are lurking in ##xen on freenode all the time. The latest source is very usable and perfomance on my domU's is excellent. I have 2 very fat domU's and 5 light ones on an SMP Athlon running unstable.
