Hi,

I was able to migrate my VM to localhost without any issues.
xen-unstable source was downloaded on 8 Nov.

The command I issued was
#xm migrate 4 127.0.0.1

4 is DomID

This migrated successfully, only difference I found was that, it changes the DomID (Ofcourse!!)

If I am not wrong , the default xend-config comes with these
relocation parametrs set
as you sussgested (I am  far from the Xen machine right now for the
next twelve hours).
