I'd recommend doing the following then re-installing: mv /etc/xen /etc/xen-old rm -rf /usr/lib/python/xen /usr/lib/python*/site-packages/xen rm -rf /usr/lib/libxc* If you have the source, do "make uninstall" which does a rather more thorough job.
