Dear, I found interesting feature of Xenoppix(Xen 3.0). The kernel with Xen falls down at boot of Xenoppix on Panasonic CW-F4. However the normal kernel boots correctly. CW-F4 Japanese Model (I tried.) http://panasonic.jp/pc/products/w4g/ CW-F4 Oversea Model http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/vModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=15001&catalogId=13401&itemId=94956&catGroupId=25095&modelNo=CF-W4GWCFZBM-EC&surfModel=CF-W4GWCFZBM-EC&cacheProgram=11002&cachePartner=7000000000000005702 This behavior is first time. We know some PCs couldn't boot with GRUB. For example, Sharp PC-GP2-D7E. http://www.sharp.co.jp/products/pcgp2d7e/ So, shall we use Xenoppix as a tester to check availability of Xen and GRUB? :-) ------ suzaki >>From: Kuniyasu Suzaki <k.suzaki@xxxxxxxxxx> >>Subject: [Xen-users] Xenoppix(Xen 3.0 CD size) is released >> >> >>Dear, >> >>We released New Xenoppix (based on Xen3.0, CD size). >> Detail HP http://unit.aist.go.jp/itri/knoppix/xen/index-en.html >> 670MB knoppix_v4.0.2CD_20050923_xen3.0-20060104+IPAFont_cdsize.iso >> >>--------------------------------- >># New Features >> * Xen is updated to version 3.0. >> * Host-Xenoppix(Knoppix on Domain0) boots Guest-Xenoppix(Knoppix on >> DomainU) with same kernel and same Root FileSystem. >> * Network is selectable; "Bridge" or "NAT".
