ive been seeing this problem for some time, im useing gentoo for both dom0 and domU's on lvm devices with xfs file systems. i have segmentation faults when building software, most the time it results from using sed below is a example: emerge -v libtool [snip] checking for readdir... yes./configure: line 21743: 22218 Segmentation fault sed -n "s/^\\([_$as_cr_alnum]*_cv_[_$as_cr_alnum]*\\)=\\(.*\\)/\\1=\\2/p" configure: creating ./config.status ./configure: line 22790: 22242 Done uniq confdefs.h22243 Segmentation fault | sed -n -f confdef2sed.sed >conftest.defines config.status: creating Makefile config.status: creating config.h./config.status: line 818: 22383 Segmentation fault sed 's/[ ]*$//' $ac_file_inputs >$tmp/in config.status: executing depfiles commands./configure: line 23186: 22436 Segmentation fault sed -n "s/^\\([_$as_cr_alnum]*_cv_[_$as_cr_alnum]*\\)=\\(.*\\)/\\1=\\2/p" problem is sed is used on almost all configure scripts out there, again this only happens in domU's and gcc its self sometimes has the same problem __________________________________________________ www.palen.serveftp.net Center for Advanced Computing http://cac.engin.umich.edu brockp@xxxxxxxxx _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
