I think that this thread should just die.  There's no real answer.  It's
mostly a matter of preference.  Debian could have the best packages and
scripts, but some people will still refuse to use it.  Gentoo could be
the most tunable or whatever, but people don't like that one, either.
RedHat makes a lot of people throw up, but it's pretty stable.  That's
five weeks of this thread degrading into an argument, condensed.
