I've found nothing about this in > the docs. to answer my question myself: xm block-list <DomId> xm block-detach <DomId> <DevId> xm block-attach <DomId> <BackDev> <FrontDev> <Mode> [BackDomId] (found in <src>/docs/man/xm.pod.1 , seems the docs aren't installed correctly) The same for network-list, network-detach and network-attach. Short help appears when invoked with "xm block-attach" and so on. block-detach only works if the deivce is not in use by <DomId>. xenstore-rm backend/vbd/? works also if the block device is in use by <DomId>, but it's difficult to reattach such a removed block device. -- greetings eMHa Attachment:
