Hey there,

actually I don't know about a limit that I could reach (beside my poor hardware :-))

But you may check your max_loop - as you need to extend your number of loop devices if using file backed domU's

Is xen (3.0.2) have *limit*ations to run more than 4 virtual machine at
th same time ?
I got below error measge when I create 5th virtual machine :

xen-1:/etc/xen# xm list
Name ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State Time(s)
Domain-0 0 256 2 r----- 1390.5
vm1 7 512 1 -b---- 3.4
vm2 8 512 1 -b---- 3.2
vm3 9 512 1 -b---- 3.3
vm4 20 512 1 r----- 1.6
xen-1:/etc/xen# xm create vm5-centos3
Using config file "vm5-centos3".
Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected. Backend device not found.

any idea .
