People are looking at it, I'm not sure how far they've got. There are patches floating around that achieve this, but there's more work planned before their inclusion in a release. Out of interest did you use the USB virtualisation in Xen 2.x? Did it do what you wanted? > Will this mean that it will be possible to have a Windows XP guest > installation with a fully functioning USB printer ? That's the idea. It'd probably work with the existing patches if you felt brave enough to bake them in. But IBM have a vested interest in supporting USB virtualisation in their bladecenter product so I think they're planning on driving this to completion. You should see proper USB virtualisation support in a future release, although right now I could not say how long it will be. What use is a unicyle with no seat? And no pedals! Mark: To answer a question with a question: What use is a skateboard? Dave: Skateboards have wheels. Mark: My wheel has a wheel! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
