[Xen-users] Xen 3.0.3 with a AMD X2 processor

I am trying to install WinXP in a DomU on my new machine.

My tests are made with:

Hardware : MB Asus M2NPV-VM with Nvidia chipset and 1 Gb RAM
           AMD Athlon X2 processor (dual core - SVM capable)
Software : Ubuntu 6.06 and Ubuntu 6.10 both for i386 and for AMD64

Xen : last binary tarball 3.0.3 for 32 bit SMP and for 64 bit SMP

I am able to install xen and boot xen kernel. Xen kernel show SVM as enabled
When I start xp virtual machine (no network, for test only), with this configuration:

kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader"
builder='hvm'
memory = 256
name = "winXP"
acpi=1
apic=1
disk=['file:/media/hda2/tmp/xp.img,ioemu:hda,w','file:/media/hda2/tmp/cd_xp.iso,hdc:cdrom,r']
boot="d"
sdl=1
vnc=0
serial='pty'

XP install start but I can't use any function key (F5 or F6). Install procede to disk formatting and copy files. After this XP install need to reboot machine. After reboot I get a blank screen and an idle Domu, after (apparently) 2 screen resize.

xm list show   -b---- status

Test made with acpi and apic on or off, with 32 bit or 64 bit versions give all same result.
Also moving image file on Sata or IDE disk don't change anything.

Windows XP installed directly on this machine is correctly working as is correctly working Ubuntu Linux and Dom0 linux

Is my MB unsupported by current Xen version?

Regards

Franco
