  • Thread-topic: 1280x768 with Cirrus in HVM guest?

Hi there!

On a wide-screen notebook (1440x768), I was able to run X on a HVM guest in
1280x768 mode.
This was achieved using the Cirrus emulation, and the VESA driver of X.org.

On the same virtual machine, how can I make Windows XP use the same resolution?
It _is_ supported by XEN, since I saw in with a linux guest.

Now only the windows driver should support this resolution.

The cirrus driver does not seem to support it, even if this mode is supported
by the emulated cirrus card.

How can I tweak the driver's settings?

Or should I change to a different (VESA) windows driver, instead of the current
the cirrus driver?
Where can I find such driver?

      Kristof
