The bad news for me is that the MB you are looking for is for Intel CPU. I already have an Athlon. Anyway it would be interesting to see a success story about your setup.

Mainboard will be a Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3[1]. I do not have it here yet
but the handbook shows a BIOS option - 'onboard graphic when no pcie
card' or 'always'.
