Hi

I have installed Xen 3.0.4 on Gentoo.
When I use network-route & vif-route scripts
domU has no connectvity. The vm is brought
up using HVM. The configuration file is :

kernel = "/usr/lib64/xen/boot/hvmloader"
builder='hvm'
memory = 64
name = "winxp"
disk = [ 'file:/xen-images/windows/winxp1.img,ioemu:hda,w',
',ioemu:hdc:cdrom,r' ]
device_model = '/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm'
boot="c"
sdl=1
vnc=0
vif=['']
apic=0
acpi=0
pae=0

There is an interface created in domU, which i manually configure the IP address
and gateway for it. What I don't understand is why I can't monitor any
trafic on the
vif#.0 interface, despite the fact that I create traffic on the eth0
interface of the domU.
I have tried several compinations for the IP addresess of eth0 in domU
and vif#.0 in
dom0 but with no results.
Another thing is why the vif-route script sets the IP address of
vif#.0 interface the
same as the IP address of the eth0 interface of dom0?

Can anyone help?

George
