What means "I annot simply"? What happens when you try it?
Is the eth0 device absolutely not there at all iun the domU?

Do you have ethernet modules compiled in, and copied the modules into
the domU system(or do you use a monoithis kernel)?

Henning

I did try it.  That's why I can't do it.  ifconfig -a does not show anything but the loopback.  I used this kernel on a whitebox 4 installation.  I assumed it had ethernet support compiled in.  Does anyone roll guest kernels somewhere that I can download?  Not afraid to try a different kernel.
