[Xen-users] xen 3.0 directory structure

hi, sorry fot the trivial question, but I couldn`t find a satisfacting answer. 
I use xen3.0.4 with kernel 2.6.16.33: what is the difference between 
configuration files under buildconfigs dir and the usual .config file inside 
kernel strucure?
