Hi all.  I am in search of documentation to help me achieve something it seems there is little to no (or very well hidden!) documentation on.  Maybe someone has done this, or knows someone who has?  Ignore the question of "why?" for a moment and imagine the following scenario:

I have an existing GFS storage cluster, comprised entirely of "real" servers.  That is to say, none of the servers accessing the GFS volumes are virtual.  The disk used for the GFS cluster lives on an EMC Fiber Channel SAN.  I have a new server on which I desire to host a domU that is to be a member of the GFS cluster.  I do not wish for dom0 to be a member of the GFS cluster. The server in question has a Qlogic QLE2460 HBA.

How do I go about giving a domU access to SAN?  Can we create SAN bridges like we can Ethernet bridges, and then define a virtual HBA in the domU?  Can we hide the real HBA from dom0 and present it to domU, somehow?  Is it even possible to do what I am asking?  After days of Googling and reading various documentation, plus reading hundreds of possibly relevant emails in this list's archive, I have not found what I am looking for.  I have more questions than answers.

Has anyone done this, or seen documentation to this effect?
