OpenSolaris is different from the versions you tried before. In
particular the extra line. See:

Though you say you've been trying for weeks, so if both OpenSolaris and
SXCE are crashing, it must be some other problem. add " -kd" to the
options and it should drop you into the kernel debugger. Type "::stack"
to see what the stack trace is.

Also which builds of SXCE did you try?
