Hi,

I’m using RHEL linux 5.1, I can’t add the another NIC to my virtual machine.

# /etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge start

Link veth0 is missing. This may be because you have reached the limit of the number of interfaces that the loopback driver supports. If the loopback driver is a module, you may raise this limit by passing it as a parameter (nloopbacks=<N>); if the driver is compiled statically into the kernel, then you may set the parameter using loopback.nloopbacks=<N> on the domain 0 kernel command line.

May I know what is wrong?

How can I add another NIC card to the virtual machine ?

I follow the documentation http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking#head-6bf1a8014b3a002670ac23d8326eb9ac9e2714e5 but can’t seems to solve the problem. It has being troubling me for long time. Anybody had this problem and solve it before?

Best Regards,

Choon Kiat
