[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-users] from SLES SP1(3.0.4) to SLES SP2 (3.2)
Hi,I'm planning to update my sles 10 server, so sp 1 is allready installed but sp 2 is now available. The Problem is that I'm not an expert in the xen 3.2 version which is in sp2 included. Are there some handicaps to use the new xen version? Should I fix something in the guest config files or in the xend config? Example for the Config files: ostype = "opensuse" name = "suse-10.3-testme" builder = "linux" memory = 512 vcpus = 1 uuid = "3f6d1d9d-b7eb-401e-b8b1-fe7bc43e64cc" on_crash = "destroy" on_poweroff = "destroy" on_reboot = "restart" localtime = 0 bootloader = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/domUloader.py" bootargs = "--entry=xvda1:/boot/vmlinuz-xen,/boot/initrd-xen" extra = " "disk = [ 'file:/vm/domains/suse-10.3-testme/suse-10.3--testme.img,xvda,w', 'file:/vm/domains/suse-10.3-testme/suse-10.3-testme.swap,xvdb,w', ] vif = [ 'mac=31:5e:d3:48:e4:87', ] vfb=['type=vnc,vncdisplay=2'] OR ostype = "windowsxp" name = "windows-xp-de-01" builder = "hvm" memory = 512 vcpus = 1 uuid = "1beb471f-2567-4412-bd59-61818f7f89c4" on_crash = "destroy" on_poweroff = "destroy" on_reboot = "restart" localtime = 1 extid = 0 device_model = "/usr/lib/xen/bin/qemu-dm" kernel = "/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" boot = "c" disk = [ 'file:/vm/domains/windows-xp-de-01/windows-xp-de-01.img,hda,w', ] vif = [ 'mac=00:16:3e:a3:0a:32,model=rtl8139,type=ioemu', ] vnc = 1 vncdisplay = 0 apic = 0 acpi = 1 pae = 1 usb = 1 usbdevice = 'tablet' serial = "pty" Which changes had been made from xen 3.0.4 to xen 3.2.
