Hi Maurice,

I've never installed xen from precompiled binaries,
so a few questions:

- what version of b44 module is telling you: "/sbin/modinfo b44"
- have you a direcory called "/lib/modules/2.6.18.8-xen/.build" in your
tree?

I guess you have 2.6.18.8 kernel?
"uname -r" prints kernel version.

Let's see if we can build module b44 in newest verion.
I don't know if it's fixed then, but perhaps we should give a try.
