Hi,

I am trying to install Xen on my Gentoo x86_64 Dual-Core AMD Opteron machine.
But its failing with the following error.

RAMDISK: Couldn't find the valid RAM disk image starting at 0.
VFS: Cannot open root device "sda1" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot oprtion
Kernel panic not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)

Here is the my GRUB configuration info

title Xen 3.0
root(hd0,0)

kernel /boot/xen-3.3.gz console=vga

module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18.8-xen root=/dev/sda1/ console=tty0

module /boot/initrd-2.6.18.8-xen.img

With the above root option I am successfully able to boot my gentoo but failing
with xen.
Can anybody helps me?

Thanks,
Sunil.
