Hello:
I'm looking for where to change the setting for the number of CPUs per socket in Xen (openSuSE11.0 x86_64).  I have a 32-processor machine (8 quad-core opterons) and was told on bugzilla:
"By default, xen exposes virtual CPUs as sockets as opposed to cores. w2k3 EE only supports 8 sockets.
You can edit your config file cpuid stanza to effectively set the number of cores per socket."
I have Win2003Server Enterprise edition which I have verified will use at least 16 cores, but so far sees only 8 under Xen, irrespective of the setting I make in the KDE Xen VM manager applet.  Can anyone help me?  I don't know which config file this is referring to and what settings to make in the cpuid stanza.  I need to tell Xen to use between 2 and 4 cores per socket.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
patti
