Hi,

How to identify whether the exported device(xvd) on Linux domU is read-only (or) normal block device?. In latest kernel, I find file called "ro" under /sys/block/xvda/ directory and it is set to 1 when the device is read-only. But the similar file is not avaiable in old Linux distribution like SLES 10 sp2.

Help here will be highly appreciated....

Thanks in advance,
Rajesh Nagarajan.
