[Xen-users] Migration - Live and otherwise

I am running Gitco Xen 3.3.1 with CentOS5.3 as Dom0, I have finally started trying to get migration working.

I have two hosts both with 8Gbytes RAM running Core2 Quad processors. The processors are a Q9400 and Q6600.

At this point I have had very little success. I can migrate in either direction, both live and not, a Fedora10 DomU and the success rate is terrible. About 1 time in 10 do I get a running DomU after migration. All the other times, xm list on the destination shows the DomU in -r- state but I get no response from either the network or console. These are relatively small DomUs with only 256 or 512 Mbits of RAM. Another pair, one at 768 and the other at 1024 do not migrate at all, xm migrate comes back saying it failed. At the time of migration, there is heaps of available RAM on both systems.

I can not find any errors in the various logs and am at a loss as to what to do next. Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

PS: I am seeing a lot of the following in xm dmesg

(XEN) traps.c:2171:d24 Domain attempted WRMSR 0000000000000175 from ffff8300:cedf7fd0 to 00000000:c112ba80.
