Usually my workaround is to use two NICs :
- one for dom0 management, with IP address on dom0
- one is trunk, with bridges created over vlans for domU traffic, no
IP address on dom0

On few hosts where I had to use the standard xen bridge, I changed
/etc/xen/network-bridge with the one from the above bug report.
