[Xen-users] CPUID Question - Multicore CPUs

Well, I know I've asked questions about the cpuid setting before, but I'll ask, again.  I'm trying to get a multi-core CPU enabled on Xen.  The xmexample.hvm file has a couple of examples, but there isn't a lot of explanation available for why it behaves as it does.  So, I've inserted the following lines into my Xen configuration file:

What I want is a single, quad-core CPU visible to my Windows XP machine.  My question is, is the above line correct?  It *appears* to work correctly - Task Manager shows 4 CPUs, as does Device Manager - but I want to make sure it actually is correct and that I'm not going to cause any instability by having my HVM configured this way.
