0.9.x didn't use WDF, 0.10.x does. I haven't tried to get wdf running at
text mode setup time but I believe that it's possible.

That is very useful to know. In that case in the first instance I will have a go at creating a plugin using the 0.9.x drivers.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the entries required in txtsetup.oem, but if a plugin works with the 0.9.x drivers there are probably some people in the BartPE forums that might be able to assist with making the necessary changes to txtsetup.oem for a plugin based on 0.10.x
