  • List-id: Xen user discussion <xen-users.lists.xensource.com>

This is using an http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-unstable.hg tree just after the 2.6.31.1 release.
It's installed on a proliant with 2 nehalem E5540 processors.

The boot hangs after these messages:

(XEN) Set CPU acpi_id(6) cpuid(6) Px State info:

(XEN) Set CPU acpi_id(7) cpuid(14) Px State info:

(XEN) Set CPU acpi_id(8) cpuid(1) Px State info:

--hang--

complete boot log below.

On the occasions where it doesn't hang, it NMIs:

The same xen version _can_ boot from a 2.6.30.3 kernel with Andrew Lyon's patches.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to try?

I have attempted to resync and rebuild but now the build is failing to pull one of the git objects:
