Oh, and one more clarification about this. Upcoming Debian stable release ("Squeeze") will have Xen dom0 using the forward-ported patches. See: http://lists.debian.org/debian-kernel/2009/10/msg00613.html Debian's plan is to remove the forward-ported Xen dom0 patches after Squeeze, and then use upstream Linux pv_ops dom0 support. -- Pasi > ;-) > Cheers! > Thiago > > 2009/10/20 Pasi Kärkkäinen <[1]pasik@xxxxxx> > > On Tue, Oct 20, 2009 at 06:43:30AM -0600, Nick Couchman wrote: > > >>> On 2009/10/20 at 03:42, Jean Baptiste FAVRE > > <[2]jean-baptiste.favre@xxxxxxxxxx> > > wrote: > > > Hello, > > > As I understand the mail, it just seems that specific Dom0 kernel > > will > > > disappear in next Debien stable release. > > > For the time being, when you want to build a Debian Dom0, you have > > to > > > install a specific "Xen-enabled" kernel. > > > Starting Squeeze, all these functionnalities will be intergrated in > > the > > > default kernel. > > > > > > Regards, > > > JB > > > > > > Alexandr R.
