There's tap:qcow support, which never seem to work correctly for all
domU types (PV/HVM):

More like for ANY domU type. I fought with tap:qcow for months and finally gave up. No matter
what combination of Dom0/DomU I had I ran into some bug somewhere. I finally gave up.
